Authentication & condition
Are your items 100% authentic?
Yes. Every item at Affluent Archives is 100% authentic, guaranteed. All products are carefully sourced from trusted suppliers and undergo thorough checks for quality and legitimacy, from serial codes and materials to packaging and stitching. We do not deal in fakes, replicas or counterfeits, so you can shop with complete confidence.
Are items inspected before being listed for sale?
Yes. Every item is quality checked on arrival and again before it is sent to you, with serial codes, materials, packaging and stitching inspected as part of our authentication process. Any wear or imperfections are clearly noted in the listing and reflected in the price.
What condition are the items in?
Every item is graded honestly using our condition guide: New (unused, with original packaging and tags), Like New (no signs of wear), Immaculate (worn once or twice, pristine condition), Very Good (minimal signs of wear) and Good (moderate signs of wear, clearly photographed and reflected in price). The exact condition of each piece is always stated on its product page.
Are trainers authenticated the same way?
Yes. Footwear goes through the same process, with additional attention to sole units, stitching, insole stamps and box labelling where the original box is included. Condition is graded to the same scale as the rest of the site.
Sizing & fit
How do I know what size to order?
Every listing shows the UK size marked on the item. Designer sizing varies considerably between houses, so where a piece runs noticeably large or small we say so in the product title, for example "UK 7.5 (Fits 8.5)". Filter by the marked UK size, then check the title for the fit note before ordering.
Why does the title mention a different size to the one I filtered by?
The size filter uses the size printed on the item itself, so it stays consistent across brands. The bracketed note in the title is our own guidance on which size it will actually suit. If you are between sizes, email us and we will advise on the specific pair.
What if my item does not fit?
You have 14 days from receiving your order to return it, provided it is unworn with the original swing tag attached. See our returns policy below.
Buying
What brands do you stock?
We specialise in pre-loved, authenticated designer fashion from the world's leading luxury houses, including Burberry, Stone Island, Dior, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Moncler, Prada, Saint Laurent and many more. Our edit is always evolving as new pieces are authenticated and added.
Are items one-off pieces?
Almost always, yes. Because our stock is pre-loved, most items are a single piece in a single size. Once something sells it is unlikely to come back, so if a piece is right for you it is worth acting quickly.
How often do you add new stock?
New pieces are authenticated and listed continuously. Browse new in to see the most recent arrivals.
Can I see items before they go on the site?
Yes. Members of our WhatsApp community get first look at new arrivals and access to exclusive deals before pieces are listed publicly. The link is in our footer.
Do you offer Buy Now Pay Later?
Yes, through Klarna, so you can split your payment interest free at checkout.
Delivery & returns
How long does delivery take?
UK orders are sent via Royal Mail, with options including Special Delivery (guaranteed by 1pm), Tracked 24 (1–3 working days) and Tracked 48 (3–5 working days). European orders typically arrive within 1–3 weeks (standard) or 2–5 working days (express), and Rest of World orders follow a similar timeframe. Exact delivery options and costs are shown at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Alongside UK delivery, we ship across Europe and the rest of the world, with tracked standard and express options available at checkout.
What is your returns policy?
We offer a 14-day return policy from the date you receive your item. To be eligible, items must be unworn or unused, with the original swing tag attached and in their original packaging, along with proof of purchase. A small number of items, including swimwear, underwear, face masks and aftershaves, cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, and sale items or gift cards are eligible for exchange or credit note only. Selling to us
How do I sell an item to Affluent Archives?
Selling with us is simple: submit the details of your designer item through our Sell an Item page to receive an offer, post your items to the address provided once your offer is accepted, and we pay directly to your bank details, usually within 24 hours of receiving them. No listings, no waiting for buyers and no marketplace fees.
What do you buy?
Pre-loved designer menswear, trainers and accessories from the houses we know best. If you are unsure whether a piece is right for us, send us the details and we will tell you either way.
Does my item need its original packaging?
It is not essential, but boxes, dust bags and receipts support authentication and usually improve the offer we can make.
